Automating Orders

Can you import my orders if I send you a spreadsheet?

You can open your spreadsheet, and copy the rows and columns that make up your order data.

Login to TrepStar and click the order using spreadsheet button:

Delete or Remove Projects

To keep products active, you will need to order a copy of each of your products at least once every 10 months.  See our current minimum requirements here.   Alternatively, you may use our Product Activation Service (it's like a cloud storage fee) *.

Because cloud data storage is expensive our system automatically will delete a project if you do not submit an order (or use our product activation service) often enough.   See our current minimum requirements here.  We are in the business of making CD/DVD/USB products on demand.  We are not a cloud storage service or a warehouse service for your data.

To check if any of your products are at risk, we have a report you can look at.  In your dashboard, choose the All Reports button.  Near the bottom of that list of reports, choose the Project Activation Report report.

We send you a warning email before we would delete any of your projects.  To avoid project deletion, please order a copy if you receive the warning (or use Product Activation Service*).   In addition, when you log in to TrepStar, you will see warning messages if any projects are at risk of deletion.

*Product Activation Service is a feature that enables you to keep any project that is about to be deleted.  It simulates ordering the product without any product being produced or shipped.  Instead of paying full price for a product you may not want, just pay the small project activation fee of a few dollars instead.   Instead of making and shipping your product, we charge the fee to keep your project active for several more months  See our current minimum requirements here.  This helps us pay for cloud storage fees etc.

Do we get a credit if customers return cds or dvds to you for refunds?

No.

However, most of our competition simply throws away returned product without notifying you.  We open returned packages, and email you, the publisher, to let you know a customer returned a product for one of two reasons:  1) A bad address, or 2) The customer refused the package.

It costs us much more in labor support costs to handle returns than it does to ship anything out initially with our automated system. We may keep it around for extra inventory but we do not credit your account since we already fulfilled the order, dealt with returns, printed postage, incurred handling costs, etc

Can I make a project with dvds and cds or audio cds combined (a mixed media type multi-disc set)?

Yes
1) create a project

2) change it to a dvd project by clicking the options button within the login area after you make the project.

3) Make it a multi-disc set by editing the project and clicking the link ("make this a multi disc set") near the burn files URL entry field. There is a link there that expands the project form.

4) Enter the urls for each disc.

5) You can choose the type of each disc in a multi-disc set. There are radio buttons that let you choose between audio cd, data cd, and dvd. These buttons are right next to the download URL for each discs burn files.


6) Save the project.

7) Click options and go through the packaging and setup steps to pick the correct packaging and options.
